Ohana: 50 Years of Family — Join the Celebration!
We’re turning 50! Join us as we celebrate College Park Elementary's rich history and incredible community on Friday, April 25th, from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM, in our school's Multi-Purpose Room (MPR). Reconnect with former students, parents, and staff as we honor the generations who have made College Park a true ohana (family). Enjoy a walk down memory lane with photo and yearbook displays from each era and stories from beloved past staff members.
This year’s milestone event also coincides with our annual Spring Carnival! Enjoy both, our 50th Anniversary Celebration and Spring Carnival together. Get ready for an afternoon packed with fun: carnival games, prizes, inflatables, performances, tasty snacks, drinks, and delicious food options, for the whole family. SILENT AUCTION
Back by popular demand, our PTA will be hosting a special Silent Auction from 3:00pm to 5:30pm during the event. Bid on unique baskets created by our current College Park classrooms, Venado ASB, and College Park PTA; fun activities called "Teacher Time" with your favorite teacher or administrator; and VIP parking and seating packages for Kindergarten Graduation and 6th Grade Promotion events this year. Bidding takes place onsite during the event in College Park's Music Room, which is adjacent to the MPR, with winners announced that same afternoon. Payment can be made onsite (cash, credit card, Apple Pay, Google Pay). Visit our PTA's Silent Auction page for more info and to preview the Silent Auction baskets and activities in the meantime.

2:15pm - Spring Carnival begins
2:30pm - Check-in begins at 50th Anniversary Booth just outside MPR, next to Spring Carnival Ticket Booth
3:00pm - Doors open to MPR; Silent Auction begins in Music Room; General Campus Tours begin (until 4:00pm)
4:00pm - Welcome by Meg Gwyn, Principal, in MPR; Special Guest Speakers
4:15pm - General Campus Tours resume; VIP Campus Tours begin
4:30pm - Special Hula Performance on Blacktop (pause all Campus Tours)
5:30pm - Silent Auction ends; All Campus Tours end
5:45pm - Silent Auction winners announced; winners submit payment at Spring Carnival Ticket Booth
6:00pm - End of 50th Anniversary Celebration and Spring Carnival

Parking
Parking will be available anywhere along the adjacent streets around the school in the College Park neighborhood. Please DO NOT park in red zones, in fire lanes, or blocking the driveways of any residential homes. Make sure NOT to park in drop-off zones during certain times as posted along the street. Staff parking lot will be open only AFTER 2:45pm on the day of the event. If you live within walking distance, please consider walking to campus to avoid any parking issues.
ADDITIONAL INFO
- Souvenir "swag bags" will be available at the 50th Anniversary Booth for guests who submitted their RSVP by March 31st. Please come to the 50th Anniversary Booth to check-in and obtain your reserved swag bag.
